• Program content: the information you put into the Service, such as onboarding answers, policies, evidence files, tasks, and chat messages.
• Usage information: log data, device and browser information, and analytics events that help us understand how the Service is used.

How we use it

• To provide, secure, and improve the Service.
• To power AI features. Your program content is sent to our AI provider only as needed to perform the task you requested, scoped to your organization. We do not use your content to train AI models.
• To send transactional messages and, with your consent, product updates.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that run the Service, listed on our security page, under agreements that limit their use of it, or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. If you close your account, you can export your program content, and we delete your data on request after a short wind down period, except where the law requires longer retention.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information. Email privacy@vciso.ai and we will honor applicable requests.

Email choices

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails about your account continue while your account is active.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and note the new date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
